Introduction

Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) is transforming the way we build applications, analyze information, and interact with technology. From intelligent chatbots to automated content creation and advanced decision-support systems, Gen AI is becoming a foundational skill for developers, data professionals, and technology leaders.

This program provides a comprehensive introduction to Generative AI, starting with its core concepts and underlying technologies. Participants will explore how modern Large Language Models (LLMs) work, including leading models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama, and Claude, along with the organizations behind them. The curriculum also covers essential practices like Prompt Engineering, enabling learners to effectively interact with and control AI models.
To bridge theory and real-world implementation, the course introduces key Gen AI frameworks and platforms such as LangChain, Hugging Face, Haystack, LlamaIndex, Amazon Bedrock, Ollama, and Groq. Advanced concepts including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, Agents, Tools, and model optimization techniques like LoRA and QLoRA are also discussed, providing a strong foundation for building scalable and efficient AI-powered applications.

As part of this program, a two-day introductory Python class will be conducted, with a focus on Python’s role and practical applications in Generative AI. This ensures participants gain the essential programming skills required to understand, experiment with, and deploy Gen AI solutions confidently.By the end of this journey, learners will have a clear understanding of the Gen AI ecosystem, its tools, and its practical use cases—empowering them to take their first steps into building intelligent, next-generation applications.
